After earning my undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame, I attended the University of Miami (Fla.) School of Law. While I entered law school with hopes of practicing environmental law, I began my legal career in St. Louis, Missouri, working for Brown & James PC, a large regional firm, in its construction law and toxic tort departments. From there, I joined a national firm, Polsinelli PC, primarily focusing on business litigation, telecommunications law, and trademark disputes in state and federal courts. Working in St. Louis, Missouri, and Overland Park, Kansas, I obtained law licenses in Missouri, Illinois, and Kansas. After working full time as a litigation attorney, I made the decision to scale back from hours and spend time with my growing family. I worked part-time for an attorney who mentored me most of my career and worked for him until he was confirmed as a U.S. District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Missouri.
Life brought me to Cleveland, Ohio, and good fortune introduced me to The Becker Law Firm. I am licensed to practice law in Ohio and I am honored to be working with the attorneys at The Becker Law Firm while we advocate for our clients who have suffered devastating losses from catastrophic injuries, birth injuries, and medical negligence. Working for our clients brings more meaning to my legal career than I have ever had – I believe The Becker Law Firm fights the good fight.
Outside of the firm, I spend my time raising my two sets of twins – one boy and three girls – and driving them to and from practices and games. For fun, I teach group exercise classes, binge watch Netflix with my children, and every so often find time to sit down with a good book.
